Gordon, Elbert and David Gladden, along with Frank Antes and Tom Evans work on the Ida May on a cool but comfortable fall Saturday. Wesley Price supervises. They take the bowsprit off the Ida May, or more accurately, pull the bowsprit onto the deck. Everyone but Gordon is skeptical that the bowsprit can be pulled back onto the deck, but we do it easily. Watch family dynamics in action as David scolds Gordon for climbing an unsafe ladder (held together by blue painters tape.)
